Dermacia is scamming the public. I don't want anyone else to have to go through what i went through with them, along with hundreds of others. They have an F rating with THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. I purchased the 30 day free trial and sent it back after i realized the makeup was cake-ish and actually made me break out, and i usually don't break out. It felt thick and it looked kind of fake. The colors didn't match, and when i sent it back to them in the mail, they say three months they still haven't recieved it, i find that highly wrong, also they took the 50 dollar charge out of my account anyways, and i'm fighting to get my money back, they wont give it to me. They told me if i had a receipt showing the tracking number of the package that i sent to them, that i could get my money back, however i live in a small town and the receipt doesn't say, shipped to blah blah dermacia on this date and heres the tracking number. It says my post office name and 9.95 transaction, it doesn't say 9.95 shipping and handeling. I am so mad, then the supervisor advised the person in charge of email to block my account name, and to tell me not to contact them again because they don't know how to deal with customers like me. I am furious. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, i really wish i didn't. I just wanted to tell everyone to be very careful with their customers service. I placed my order on Jan. 10th after watching the Rachel Hunter infomercial, placing my order was great the lady was very helpful but I was confused about the high price that they charged instead of the $9.95 for 30 days it was crazy. I was so excited and even more excited because the lady said if you pay your two payments of 45.95 plus shipping upfront you will be getting your make up with in 5 to 7 business days lets just say today is January 30th and still have not gotten it. During this forever time of waiting today was my 6th time speaking to someone in their customers service line, I even talked to two supervisors and everyone just gave me the run around. It will be there in two days your order was sent out, or an e-mail saying we are on back order, then the biggest lie of all your bank has declined our charge, when there was more then sufficient in my account. Their customer service sucks!!! Today when I spoke to the last supervisor she was yelling at me like it was my fault and she would not even let me speak so I told her that I wanted to cancel my order and she was just rude. I can not believe that people there are so incompetent. Well that is all I have to say, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

I called them to make an exchange for the foundation and it's been a month and it hasn't come in the mail yet. They said that my 30 day trial would start when I receive the other foundation but they already charged my credit card for the other foundation that's the wrong color. What's up with that? I'm just waiting for the other foundation so I can make the return.

This company is scamming the public. Nowhere, either on the website, or on the informercial, does it say that you will be charged $99. It says you are getting these products for an introductory price of $9.95. I ordered online, and only when I received my emailed receipt did I see that they were going to charge my CC $49.95 TWICE! I was outraged. I sent an email immediately and told them what they were doing was dishonest and immoral. They wrote back and said that it clearly says the terms of the agreement on the website. It doesn't! I asked them to point out the exact place where it spells out the terms, and they just wrote back and said, "YOUR ORDER IS CANCELLED." I also talked with someone on the phone at Dermacia just to be sure I wasn't going to be charged, and she said, "I know it doesn't say anything about the $99 charge on the infomercial, but the website clearly spells it out." I told her it didn't as of 10 minutes ago. I cannot believe any celebrity or makeup artist would fall in with these type of people. It is truly shameful. It doesn't matter if they make good products or bad, their business ethics are in the toilet. They might be making money now, but they will eventually pay for such unethical tactics.

yep, this is one crooked organization. but first i'll start with the product. it blows. sucks. is awful. i tried this quite awhile ago so i'm working on memory here, but it was so bad i only put it on once. it was, as someone else said, like spreading clay across your face. i remember in high school we used to have a clay stomp and it was exactly like all that wet, sticky, gray clay we used. well, except for the gray part. but the colours were definitely off too, or maybe it's just b/c the texture was so, so dry. i couldn't blend it at all, not with the brush, not with my fingers, not with a sponge. consequently it was hard to build coverage, so this was NOT full coverage on me. it was just so awful and i was so disappointed b/c i really thought i was going to find *the* foundation. i mean i know infomercials exaggerate but this product wasn't even remotely like what they described. the rest of the stuff in the kit don't make up for it in the least. i kinda liked the two pink "gel" colours though and wish i could find something similar. (actually everyday minerals chit-chat blush with anytime blush on top pretty much achieve the same look, just a different formula) now on to service..dear lord. when i ordered this they weren't only charging shipping for 30 days, so i paid $10 plus $30 for the first month. basically you pay $30/month for three months, so the kit is $100. talk about a ripoff, especially since they claim everything but the foundation are "bonuses". i ended up sending it back and had to pay for my own shipping which was another $10 or so..maybe even more since i got delivery confirmation so i would know it got there. well, it got there all right but i was still being charged for it! i called cs and they said they never got it which wasn't true obviously. then they fed me some bs about how i was supposed to call them first and get a "return number" so they would know it was coming in and would process it faster. nowhere in my package or on their site does it say such a thing. NOWHERE. i figured, send it back, get refund (besides the $20+ i was out for shipping). no such luck. at least they put a hold on charging me more, but it took forever and many, many calls to get my money back. they were all idiots and liars and tried to give me the run-around but i wasn't buying it. finally i got my money back and i will never deal with that s*** again. even if the product were the most amazing thing i had ever tried, i still couldn't recommend it b/c of the horrendous customer service. in short (or long), that's it.

I purchased Dermacia after seeing the infomercial and how it has flawless application. It said the models can be under the lights for hours and it looks like they just applied their makeup. Advised that the makeup doesn't rub off. This stuff is junk. It's like putting clay on your face and then it dries and cracks by the end of the day. And let me tell you, if models can wear it under the lights all day, I sure should be able to have it on my face when I go to the gym - let's just say - don't sweat while wearing this makeup - it literally runs down your face. So it went back before the 30 days and they still charged by credit card for the 2nd payment. I called and they advised it can take up to two weeks to process the credits. So, needless to say, I'm calling everyday to see if the credit has been processed....hopefully the squeaky wheel gets the grease. I have really tried to use these products because I had such high hopes based on the informercial. After 2 weeks, I have finally given up and am sending it back. I cannot get the colors to match my skin, no matter what I do and it is way too difficult to apply. I tried fingers, brush and sponge, with/without water and moisturizer. I was prepared to pay shipping but the post office told me it was able to be just shipped back to the return address so i figured that was that. More than 2 weeks later i noticed Dermacia had charged me 1 payment of 49.99 so i called to verify that they had received my return and credit my account and not charge me again. The first phone call they told me that they did not receive the product yet but they could credit my account with a proof of return. I told them i had no proof of return and that the post office just took it back. They told me then there was nothing they could do for me. Fair enough. I then contacted my post office and they did have a tracking number for me so i called dermacia back and received a whole new story from them....The POST OFFICE tracking number was not in their system (yeah right) and that my 30 day free trial was now expired. I am FURIOUS! i received the product 3 weeks after i ordered and returned it maybe 5 days later how is that a 30 day free trial when i didn't even have it for 30 days? I have a tracking number from a US post office that can even indicate the date it was sent back. I notified my bank with my US post office tracking notice not to authorize another transaction and am currently fighting the already made transaction....that is the only way to handle these scammers. Also i have read other complaints that have said they did not need to pay shipping for returning either. 2/13/2007 - M. I ordered Dermacia online 11/12/10. I received it on 11/15/10 and returned it the very next day via UPS. Dermacia's phone number doesn't work and when I emailed about my refund I was told they never got package even though UPS's Proof of Delivery shows that it was delivered to the address given by Dermacia, a/k/a F1 SEO. That was $90.00!! I will stick to department stores because you don't know who you are buying from online! SCAM ARTISTS!!!
